If you know me at all, you’ll know that I love Neil Gaiman. I won’t get into details–I have a review of Coraline coming up in a week or so where I gush about him, so we’ll keep the love at a minimum right now.

Anyway, Neil had a great idea for Halloween. He started a thing called All Hallow’s Read – a Halloween tradition where you give a scary book to someone for the holiday. I thought it would be fun to participate, so I’m going to have my very first giveaway!

I’ll be giving away a copy of The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson–a classic Halloween novel!

All you have to do is leave a comment on my blog telling me what your favourite Halloween tradition is! Do you dress up? Hand out candy? Dress up the dog? Make a haunted house? Go to haunted houses?

We don’t go crazy for Halloween, but we do take the kiddo out Trick or Treating! He loves it and it’s awesomesauce to watch him have so much fun! Our neighborhood doesn’t get much trick or treating action, so we don’t pass out candy or really decorate much.
