Who doesn’t love a good challenge? It’s been so long since I’ve signed up for one – a couple years at least. When I say the R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril VI Challenge’ over at the Stainless Steel Droppings website, I knew I had to get in on it.
The best part about this challenge is that the challenge is to read HORROR novels! I had a few of those that I had been meaning to read. What motivation!
The purpose of the R.I.P. Challenge is to enjoy books that could be classified as:
Mystery.
Suspense.
Thriller.
Dark Fantasy.
Gothic.
Horror.
Supernatural.
I had a lot of fun with this, even if my “horror” picks weren’t as scary as I thought they would be. Being someone who hasn’t read a lot of horror novels, it was a good chance to dabble in it a little bit!

K, your review of Haunted is not showing.
I have read my 4 but trying to complete Dracula before I do my end post. Like you the horrors just didn’t impress me.
Sorry, Haunted’s review will be posted Monday – I’ll make a note on the post.
