In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren. It’s where all participants post what new books they received in the mail, from the library, or contests they won, etc. Click the link for more info and to join in on the fun!
Sorry for the lack of editing on this one … I spent the ENTIRE day on Saturday moving my library room from one room to another, which meant moving a bedroom from one room to another. I was EXHAUSTED!
This is also the vlog where I butcher ALL the authors’ names, as well as some book titles and series names. I think I need notes when I go to do a vlog. AND, for some reason the voices aren’t matching up. I think it happens when I get overly excited about my books. Yeah.
Anyways … huge thanks to Lisa, Michele, Raincoast Books, and St. Martin’s Press!

If you get a moment stop by My Weekly Report
Great haul! I just read Possession a few weeks ago.
Happy reading!
My IMM
Ooh … I’m excited to read it! I’ve heard some good things.
I finished Pushing the Limits last week and LOVED IT! I hope you can read it soon!
Wow, lots of great books! I really need to get For Darkness Shows The Stars. Happy reading!
IMM
Thank you! For Darkness Shows the Stars is such a beautiful book … and I haven’t even read it yet. It looks so pretty on my shelf.
Can’t wait for Kelly Armstrong to come !! I read her books but I don’t own them… bargain buyer. The only way keeping me from blowing my money on a bunch of books is that I’m waiting them to go on sale…
I can’t wait, either! It’s gonna be EPIC!
I have Sweet Evil sitting on my shelf, I REALLY need to read it soon! It sounds great
I’m also looking forward to hearing what you think of For Darkness Shows the Stars, I’m a bit on the fence whether or not I should just jump on the bandwagon…
Hope you enjoy all your pretty books!
I’m ALL for jumping on the bandwagon! Go peer pressure! Ha! No, For Darkness Shows the Stars looks sooo good and it’s such a pretty book! If you watch the video, I’m sure I started petting it at one point. And Sweet Evil sounds soo good! I hope to get that read this week!
“For Darkness Shows the Stars” was a pretty decent book.
And I have heard SO MANY THINGS about “Pushing the Limits”. Jeez, I’m gonna have to get myself a copy just to see what all the fuss is about. :3
Happy reading!

Yes! I just finished Pushing the Limits this week and it was great. Definitely worth all the fuss!
I just got Who I Kissed from an ARC tour and I can’t wait to read it! I read The Fledgling Handbook last month for a read-a-thon and it was really interesting! I hope you enjoy everything and here’s my IMM!

Thanks, Paige! I’m going to wait until ALL THE BOOKS are released in the House of Night series, then I can read them all and get it finished!
I bought a copy of For Darkness Shows the Stars this week too. Haven’t read it yet. I also have a copy of On the Island. Haven’t read that yet either. Seeing a pattern here? LOL. Enjoy your books this week!
Ha ha … you sound like me! As much as I love reading, I just can’t keep up with what I buy!
Wow, great haul! On sale bargain books at Chapters are my ultimate weakness too! There’s nothing better than getting a deal on a book that’s already a good deal lol. I just picked up On the Island as well, but I’m going to save it for my trip to Nova Scotia at the end of the month!
I know! I love a good sale!
Nova Scotia! I’m sooo jealous! I went in my teens with my best friend and her family and it was sooo beautiful!
Kaiden *swoooon* *drools all over computer* I really hope you enjoy Sweet Evil as much as I did, it’s so DAMN GOOD! And that is quite the haul from your friend! Kelley Armstrong is awesome but that is one looooong series, I would definitely have to read it in spurts. Like a book at a time with some breather in between. I tried reading the Pretty Little Liars series in succession… no… just no. Enjoy your books lady!
Ha ha … I’m really looking forward to reading it now! I loooooove swoon-worthy boys! The Kelley Armstrong series is such a long series, though the books aren’t overly huge. I can’t wait to dig in! I think so much as I put a few books in between each series book I should be okay.
Thanks, Jenni!
The Wings series is amazing! I really like it! I have the third book, Destined – it’s an ARC, if you’d like to have it, just let me know and I’ll send it out
Enjoy your newbies too!!!
Oh, awesome! Yeah, my vlog is full of so many mistakes, it’s ridiculous — I said there was 3 books, but I saw 4 on Goodreads. And it’s the Wings series, not the Spells series. I was too excited to think!
Thanks, Margie!
I can’t resist sales either, so you’re definitely not alone!
I buy way more than I mean to whenever I see a book sale…or if I see a book I really want at Wal-mart. The fact that all their books are at least 30% off is just too tempting to resist for me.
So glad you picked up Hearts in Darkness, and thanks for the video mention…it’s pretty awesome to get mentioned in a video. Made me kind of excited. haha
Also, you got so many amazing books this week! I hope that you enjoy them all, and I hope that once you get to Kelley’s Women of the Otherworld series that you love it.
I’m a huge fan of it. There have been a couple of the books I was only so-so over, but overall, I’ve loved it…especially the Elena ones.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my StS post, Kristilyn!
And I’m getting pretty excited for next Saturday…see you then!
Happy Reading!

Sale tables are soooo hard to resist! I just can’t go into Indigo and NOT come out with something. And the sales at Walmart are awesome! I love the 30% off! Safeway sometimes gets awesome books in, too, for 40% off … and I think Save On Foods books are on sale, too? And Superstore! Ha ha …
I can’t wait to try out the Women of the Otherworld series … it looks quite good.
I think all series have those books that are just so-so … can’t win ‘em all!
Oh and the meetup is on SUNDAY, not Saturday. Though I think according to my email I sent out, the date was for Monday. I might have to send out a quick one on Friday to everyone. There are too many readathons I’m participating in — I’m getting confused with my days!
Thanks, Ambur!
Wow what a brilliant selection of books and a great haul all round! I hope you enjoy reading all of them.
Here’s my IMM – http://peeringoverthepages.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/in-my-mailbox-10.html
Happy reading,
Charlotte
Thank you, Charlotte!

Happy reading ^^

Wow- you had a great week! Sweet Evil and Pushing the Limits are two I can’t wait to read. Hope you enjoy them all!
