BOOK HOARDER’S SELECTION, is a feature of Reading In Winter, which will feature one book from my collection that I plan to read in the coming week. These are NOT review books, but books I’ve purchased, which have been neglected for a long time.
AUTHOR: Hannah Harrington
HOW LONG I’VE HAD IT: Since the release date.
WHY I’M READING IT: I absolutely LOVED Saving June and the concept for this book sounds so good. I love the minimalist cover, too. AND reviews for it have been pretty awesome.
SYNOPSIS: Everyone knows that Chelsea Knot can’t keep a secret
Until now. Because the last secret she shared turned her into a social outcast—and nearly got someone killed.
Now Chelsea has taken a vow of silence—to learn to keep her mouth shut, and to stop hurting anyone else. And if she thinks keeping secrets is hard, not speaking up when she’s ignored, ridiculed and even attacked is worse.
But there’s strength in silence, and in the new friends who are, shockingly, coming her way—people she never noticed before; a boy she might even fall for. If only her new friends can forgive what she’s done. If only she can forgive herself.
Have you read this book?

I’ve heard some amazing things about this one! I want to read it! I hope you enjoy it
Yes, me, too! I’ve heard great things!
I love how this book looks and feels in person. But I haven’t read it either.
It really is a good-looking book in person! Very eye-catching, if in a minimalist way.
Can’t wait to see what you think of it, I’m going to go add it to my library hold list now
Ha ha … thanks, Kelsey! I am ALWAYS here to add more books to your hold list!
This sounds really good! I really like the cover – at first I thought the picture just wasn’t loading lol.
Ha ha … it IS a very minimalist cover! I do like that, though. For the subject matter, it doesn’t need a lot of flashy images.
You know, I wasn’t entirely impressed with the cover when I first saw it, but now that I know what the story is about, I definitely appreciate it a lot more. And apparently it looks very nice in person!
It does look very nice in person! While I love pictures on my covers, there’s something very unique about this one.
Oh this is a really good contemporary and super short! Hope you love it!
Awesome to hear — I can’t wait to dive in!
