BOOK HOARDER’S SELECTION (13): Speechless, by Hannah Harrington

BOOK HOARDER’S SELECTION, is a feature of Reading In Winter, which will feature one book from my collection that I plan to read in the coming week. These are NOT review books, but books I’ve purchased, which have been neglected for a long time.

TITLE: Speechless

AUTHOR: Hannah Harrington

HOW LONG I’VE HAD IT: Since the release date.

WHY I’M READING IT: I absolutely LOVED Saving June and the concept for this book sounds so good. I love the minimalist cover, too. AND reviews for it have been pretty awesome.

SYNOPSISEveryone knows that Chelsea Knot can’t keep a secret

Until now. Because the last secret she shared turned her into a social outcast—and nearly got someone killed.

Now Chelsea has taken a vow of silence—to learn to keep her mouth shut, and to stop hurting anyone else. And if she thinks keeping secrets is hard, not speaking up when she’s ignored, ridiculed and even attacked is worse.

But there’s strength in silence, and in the new friends who are, shockingly, coming her way—people she never noticed before; a boy she might even fall for. If only her new friends can forgive what she’s done. If only she can forgive herself.

  1. You know, I wasn’t entirely impressed with the cover when I first saw it, but now that I know what the story is about, I definitely appreciate it a lot more. And apparently it looks very nice in person!
