About Me

My name is Kristilyn. My two favourite hobbies include reading (obviously, if you’re on this site!) and creating music! I’m a singer-songwriter who has released a few CDs and loves to create bookish tunes (which can be downloaded for free on my bandcamp page). I also blog over on Winter Distractions, where I not only share MORE books, but also cooking, crafting, photography, and plenty of my addictions.

When I’m not reading, I’m usually:

Doing yardwork (there’s a lot of work to be done once the snow melts!)

Baking or cooking (I love making cookies … mmm, cookies.)

Catching up on my favourite TV shows (The Mindy Project, Revenge, Bunheads, Doctor Who, Parenthood) and getting addicted to new ones  – or watching my favourites that aren’t on air anymore (Chuck, Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl, Sex and the City)

Watching a movie (All-time favourite: Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken)

Playing my piano (Loud, loud, and louder!)

Listening to music (Way too many favourite artists to name!)

Knitting & crocheting (I just picked this up in 2012 and I love it! I hope to get better with more practice!)
